Amith Shenoy

A 25+ year technology veteran and graduate of the University of North Carolina, Amith founded Play On Pickle to solve a problem he experienced firsthand. As a competitive badminton player throughout school and college, he learned that performance and injury prevention depend on more than practice—they require proper conditioning, strength training, and equipment that complements each player's unique movement patterns.

With the emergence of computer vision and artificial intelligence, Amith saw an opportunity to bring insights once available only to elite athletes and sports scientists to everyday recreational players.

Play On Pickle is the result of extensive research and development, combining AI models trained on thousands of game videos with evidence-informed biomechanics movement thresholds and established sports science research. The platform analyzes how players move on the court and provides personalized insights and exercise recommendations to help them improve performance while reducing injury risk.

Amith's vision is simple: empower every pickleball player—regardless of age or skill level—to better understand their movement, play with greater confidence, and stay healthy enough to enjoy the game for years to come.
